Storing water is a vital part of survival. If you’re not fortunate enough to have a safe, clean, running water source nearby then you’ll need a way to store large amounts of water, collect rainfall, or bring water to your shelter. You should enact and practice a plan if hauling water from a stream or river is possible. If it isn’t you should be prepared to collect rainwater or install a hand water pump.
